Care Instructions:

Your oilskin can be cleaned using a dry brush to remove any dirt.

If it needs to be washed, use water only and allow it to air-dry.

To remove sweat and odors, you can mix 1/3 vinegar with water.

We also recommend re-oiling your oilskin once a year to maintain its waterproof qualities.

Orders placed on OutbackTrading.com between 11/15/23 and 1/15/24 will be eligible for returns or exchanges through January 15, 2024.

Return Policy

OutbackTrading.com can only accept return requests for orders placed on OutbackTrading.com that meet the following criteria:

  • ☑ Item was delivered within past 30 days.
  • ☑ Item is in “new” condition
  • ☑ Item is unworn, unaltered, and unwashed.
  • ☑ Item includes the original tags.

All returns must be initiated within the Outbacktrading.com Returns Portal. Any items returned to our warehouse without being processed in this portal will be refused.

If you reside within the United States, you will be charged a flat-fee of $8.00 USD for return shipping and a label will be provided automatically. This charge will be deducted from your refund. Please note: All original shipping is non-refundable and can be found under our shipping policy page.

If you reside outside of the United States, you are responsible for shipping the item back to us at your expense.

Your refund will be processed within 2-3 business days upon receipt of the returned item. Please note: the refund can take up to 5 additional business days to finalized depending on your card issuer.

Any returned product showing any type of wear will be subject to a deduction on the return credit at the sole discretion of Outback Trading Co.

Warranty Policy

Outback Trading Company provides a one year warranty on everything sold through Outbacktrading.com. We assess each warranty request on a case by case basis. Please contact us if you never received your order, received the wrong product, or believe you have received a defective product. If your order is determined to be eligible for warranty, we will either replace the product or provide a refund at no further cost to you.

ORDERING POLICY

Order Processing Times: 

Orders placed Monday-Friday before 10am EST generally ship within 1-3 business days.

Outback Trading Company offices are generally closed on US public holidays. Web orders received on these days will typically ship the following weekday.

Delays can and may occur that may be out of our control. Such as Holiday closures, Weather related events, Carrier delays etc. As always, we appreciate your patience and understanding as we strive to get all orders out on time and as quickly as possible.

 

Cancelling / Editing Your Order:

Customers have the ability to cancel or make changes to their order order by viewing the Order Confirmation Page after placing the order. This page can be accessed by logging into your account on OutbackTrading.com or by clicking on the "View Order" button in your order confirmation email.

This is only valid before we begin processing an order. Once the order has been processed and shipped, we will no longer be able to make any changes and you will be unable to edit or cancel the order from the Order Confirmation Page.

 

SHIPPING WITHIN UNITED STATES

OutbackTrading.com offers multiple shipping methods for you to choose from when placing an order. Any shipping fees associated with an order are non-refundable.

Economy Shipping: Orders shipped using this method typically takes 3-10 business days to arrive. Most of these orders will be shipped out using UPS Surepost. 

USPS Ground Advantage: Orders shipped using this method typically take 2-6 business days to arrive. 

USPS Priority Mail: Orders shipped using this method typically take2-4 business days to arrive.

Please Note: All shipping methods offer ESTIMATED delivery time-fames but do not guarantee a certain day of arrival. All shipping fees are also non-refundable.

SHIPPING INTERNATIONAL

International orders from OutbackTrading.com will be shipped via USPS.

Unfortunately, we cannot give shipping estimates as the time orders take to pass through customs can vary. We do, however, provide a tracking number with each order shipped with USPS.

Please Note: International Customers will be responsible for any duties or tariffs associated with the import of their order into their respective country.

Great fit

A few years ago I bought the short, duster-style jacket and the sleeve were ludicrously short, with a tight fit across the shoulders and big everywhere else, so I was wary of trying this one, but the fit here is excellent. I went with a medium based on some other reviews saying the sleeves were long and it fit perfectly.

Great Jacket!

This thing is built super tough. You can tell will last for years. Only problem I had was with sizing. Do yourself a favor and check the sizing chart. I ordered an XL (my normal size) and it was way too loose. For reference, I'm 5'11", 46 chest, 38 waist, 225 lb. Returned, waiting to try the L. Hoping to bump this to 5 *.

Great-Looking, Heavy-Duty, and Warm

This jacket looks great on me (if I do say so myself). I'm 5' 5" with a 42" chest. I can wear a fleece underneath and still have just enough room to comfortably maneuver. I love the black leather sewn into the collar and on the cuff strips. This jacket closely resembles my old Outback that I've had for years (back when they were made of much thicker or tougher canvas) but is kind of beat up. I like the double zipper for sitting in the car and the comfortable lining. For temperatures under 50 degrees, this jacket is awesome! The one feature I wish it had was an inside chest pocket for a cell phone (the duster has that pocket, why not THIS jacket?).
