Care Instructions:

Your oilskin can be cleaned using a dry brush to remove any dirt.

If it needs to be washed, use water only and allow it to air-dry.

To remove sweat and odors, you can mix 1/3 vinegar with water.

We also recommend re-oiling your oilskin once a year to maintain its waterproof qualities with our Duck back wax.

We offer a 90 day return policy as outlined below as well as a one year defect warranty on everything sold on OutbackTrading.com.

Return Policy

OutbackTrading.com can only accept return requests for orders placed on OutbackTrading.com that meet the following criteria:

  • ☑ Item was delivered within past 90 days.
  • ☑ Item is in “new” condition
  • ☑ Item is unworn, unaltered, and unwashed.
  • ☑ Item includes the original tags.

All returns must be initiated within the Outbacktrading.com Returns Portal. Any items returned to our warehouse without being processed in this portal will be refused.

If you reside within the United States, you will be charged a flat-fee of $8.00 USD for return shipping and a label will be provided automatically. This charge will be deducted from your refund. Please note: All original shipping is non-refundable and can be found under our shipping policy page.

If you reside outside of the United States, you are responsible for shipping the item back to us at your expense.

Your refund will be processed within 2-3 business days upon receipt of the returned item. Please note: the refund can take up to 5 additional business days to finalized depending on your card issuer.

NOTE:  A returned product showing any type of wear will be subject to a deduction on the return credit at the sole discretion of Outback Trading Co.

OutbackTrading.com can only accept exchange requests for orders placed on OutbackTrading.com that meet the following criteria:

Warranty Policy

Outback Trading Company provides a one year warranty on everything sold through Outbacktrading.com. We assess each warranty request on a case by case basis. Please contact us if you never received your order, received the wrong product, or believe you have received a defective product. If your order is determined to be eligible for warranty, we will either replace the product or provide a refund at no further cost to you.

ORDERING POLICY

We strive to fulfill orders from OutbackTrading.com within 24 hours of order placement. In rare instances, orders can take longer to process. Order Processing Times:

Orders placed Monday-Friday before 12pm EST generally ship the same day.
Orders placed Monday-Thursday after 12pm generally ship on the next day.
Orders placed on Fridays after 12pm, Saturday, or Sunday generally ship the following Monday.

Please Note: Outback Trading Company offices are generally closed on US public holidays. Web orders received on these days will usually ship the following weekday.

Cancelling / Editing Your Order:

Customers have the ability to cancel or make changes to their order order by viewing the Order Confirmation Page after placing the order. This page can be accessed by logging into your account on OutbackTrading.com or by clicking on the "View Order" button in your order confirmation email.

This is only valid before we begin processing an order. Once the order has been processed and shipped, we will no longer be able to make any changes and you will be unable to edit or cancel the order from the Order Confirmation Page.


SHIPPING WITHIN UNITED STATES

OutbackTrading.com offers three "flat rate" shipping methods for you to choose from when placing an order. Any shipping fees associated with an order are non-refundable.

Economy Shipping: This represents the slowest but also cheapest shipping method we offer. We generally ship using UPS Surepost if you choose Economy Shipping.

Priority Shipping: These orders are generally shipped using Priority Mail from the US Post Office. Orders are generally delivered within 2-5 business days depending on your location compared to Pennsylvania.

Expedited Shipping: This is our most expensive shipping option while ensuring your package will be delivered as quickly as possible. These orders generally ship with UPS 2nd Day Air.

In order to provide accurate shipping estimates as well as fair rates, we have broken up the United States into 4 shipping zones as follows.

US EAST ZONE: 
ME, VT, NH, MA, NY, MI, IL, IN, OH, PA, RI, CT, NJ, DE, MD, DC, VA, WV, KY, TN, NC, SC, GA, AL, FL

US MIDWEST ZONE:

US TERRITORIES ZONE:

Please Note: All shipping methods offer ESTIMATED delivery timefames but do not guarantee a certain day of arrival. All shipping fees are also non-refundable.


SHIPPING INTERNATIONAL

International orders from OutbackTrading.com orders will be shipped via USPS.

Unfortunately,we cannot give shipping estimates as the time orders take to pass through customs can vary. We do however provide a tracking number with each order shipped with USPS.

The Jill A Roo is more of a windbreaker/rain gear. It'll keep you warm with layers. Really like the fit. Order UP a size for layering.

Great barn coat

Purchased as an all-around coat for the barn - chores, riding, etc, and keep it in my truck so it's always at the ready. Although not insulated, it is lined and when layered with a sweater or fleece, is quite warm. Great rain & weather protection and the removable hood is a nice feature. The navy color is pretty, but I really wish that the brown/bronze was available in this style. It would hide the horsehair, hay, dirt, and dust better. The hand pockets are set a little too far back for much comfort/use but it's not a deal breaker though. I would love to see some charcoal/heather grey oilskin options too. ;)

Pockets are too small

Both the patch pocket and slit pocket on sides of coat are way too small. Can’t get your hand in so can’t warm them and hard to get things in or out of either pocket. Things also fall out of slit pocket because of poor design. Other than that, I really like the coat. Probably should have returned it but i like the overall design ☹️
