Care Instructions:

Your oilskin can be cleaned using a dry brush to remove any dirt.

If it needs to be washed, use water only and allow it to air-dry.

To remove sweat and odors, you can mix 1/3 vinegar with water.

We also recommend re-oiling your oilskin once a year to maintain its waterproof qualities with our Duck back wax.

Orders placed on OutbackTrading.com between 11/15/23 and 1/15/24 will be eligible for returns or exchanges through January 15, 2024.

Return Policy

OutbackTrading.com can only accept return requests for orders placed on OutbackTrading.com that meet the following criteria:

  • ☑ Item was delivered within past 30 days.
  • ☑ Item is in “new” condition
  • ☑ Item is unworn, unaltered, and unwashed.
  • ☑ Item includes the original tags.

All returns must be initiated within the Outbacktrading.com Returns Portal. Any items returned to our warehouse without being processed in this portal will be refused.

If you reside within the United States, you will be charged a flat-fee of $8.00 USD for return shipping and a label will be provided automatically. This charge will be deducted from your refund. Please note: All original shipping is non-refundable and can be found under our shipping policy page.

If you reside outside of the United States, you are responsible for shipping the item back to us at your expense.

Your refund will be processed within 2-3 business days upon receipt of the returned item. Please note: the refund can take up to 5 additional business days to finalized depending on your card issuer.

Any returned product showing any type of wear will be subject to a deduction on the return credit at the sole discretion of Outback Trading Co.

Warranty Policy

Outback Trading Company provides a one year warranty on everything sold through Outbacktrading.com. We assess each warranty request on a case by case basis. Please contact us if you never received your order, received the wrong product, or believe you have received a defective product. If your order is determined to be eligible for warranty, we will either replace the product or provide a refund at no further cost to you.

ORDERING POLICY

We strive to fulfill orders from OutbackTrading.com within 24 hours of order placement. In rare instances, orders can take longer to process. Please note that Outback Trading Company reserves the right to cancel any order placed through OutbackTrading.com for any reason. Examples of why this would occur include but are not limited to suspected fraud or suspected excessive return/exchange requests as a result of fulfilling the order.

Order Processing Times: 

Orders placed Monday-Friday before 10am EST generally ship within 1-3 business days.

Outback Trading Company offices are generally closed on US public holidays. Web orders received on these days will typically ship the following weekday.

Delays can and may occur that may be out of our control. Such as Holiday closures, Weather related events, Carrier delays etc. As always, we appreciate your patience and understanding as we strive to get all orders out on time and as quickly as possible.

 

Cancelling / Editing Your Order:

Customers have the ability to cancel or make changes to their order order by viewing the Order Confirmation Page after placing the order. This page can be accessed by logging into your account on OutbackTrading.com or by clicking on the "View Order" button in your order confirmation email.

This is only valid before we begin processing an order. Once the order has been processed and shipped, we will no longer be able to make any changes and you will be unable to edit or cancel the order from the Order Confirmation Page.

 

SHIPPING WITHIN UNITED STATES

OutbackTrading.com offers multiple shipping methods for you to choose from when placing an order. Any shipping fees associated with an order are non-refundable.

Economy Shipping: Orders shipped using this method typically takes 3-10 business days to arrive. Most of these orders will be shipped out using UPS Surepost. 

USPS Ground Advantage: Orders shipped using this method typically take 2-6 business days to arrive. 

USPS Priority Mail: Orders shipped using this method typically take2-4 business days to arrive.

Please Note: All shipping methods offer ESTIMATED delivery time-fames but do not guarantee a certain day of arrival. All shipping fees are also non-refundable.

SHIPPING INTERNATIONAL

International orders from OutbackTrading.com will be shipped via USPS.

Unfortunately, we cannot give shipping estimates as the time orders take to pass through customs can vary. We do, however, provide a tracking number with each order shipped with USPS.

Please Note: International Customers will be responsible for any duties or tariffs associated with the import of their order into their respective country.

Tough and Classy

Rusty loves his jacket- he is very active and loves to leap through the brush and mud.! I bought the XL and it just fits he is 110 lbs … I love the durability of the oilskin cloth shell and warmth of inner fleece. Now if Outback Trading Company could only make XXL sizes for my 135 lb Rhodesian!

Finally a Good Dog Raincoat !

After trying cheap plastic raincoats for my German Shepherd that didn't fit or were so flimsy they blew off , I have finally found a great cover for him that he tolerates well and provides good coverage . The adjustable straps allow you to make a custom fit . My guy is 80 pounds and the XL fits him perfectly.

Almost perfect

The canine coat is excellent! The sherpa Lining will keep "Goober" warm and the rain resistant covering will keep him dry. In addition it is just the right size for him. I ordered him a medium and it fits him perfectly ... covering his haunches where others did no. (He's 24 lbs). One improvement is possible. I live here in Los Angeles. This coat will be used primarily during the winter when the weather cools and the rains come. It's also when the days are shorter and I rarely get home from work before sunset. Consequently, almost all winter evening walks are done in the dark. My Goober already has dark fur and wrapping him in a dark blue coat at night makes him virtually invisible. I suggest you offer a version in a bright color and consider including reflective stripes. I found a size small reflective vest for adults that matched the outline of the coat almost perfectly (just $1). I tacked it on using some waxed thread and you can see the result in Picture 2. Now my Goober will be warm, dry, and SAFE in his new coat! He looks a little like SuperDog too!

Great Coat

I got two, one for each of my dogs. Not only do they protect them from the snow and rain, at night at the camp when the dogs are sleeping beside me, I take the coats off them and use them as blankets for them. Very nice quality.
