Care Instructions:

Your oilskin can be cleaned using a dry brush to remove any dirt.

If it needs to be washed, use water only and allow it to air-dry.

To remove sweat and odors, you can mix 1/3 vinegar with water.

We also recommend re-oiling your oilskin once a year to maintain its waterproof qualities with our Duck back wax.

Holiday Extended Return Policy

Orders placed on OutbackTrading.com between 11/15/23 and 1/15/24 will be eligible for returns or exchanges through January 15, 2024.

Return Policy

OutbackTrading.com can only accept return requests for orders placed on OutbackTrading.com that meet the following criteria:

  • ☑ Item was delivered within past 30 days.
  • ☑ Item is in “new” condition
  • ☑ Item is unworn, unaltered, and unwashed.
  • ☑ Item includes the original tags.

All returns must be initiated within the Outbacktrading.com Returns Portal. Any items returned to our warehouse without being processed in this portal will be refused.

If you reside within the United States, you will be charged a flat-fee of $8.00 USD for return shipping and a label will be provided automatically. This charge will be deducted from your refund. Please note: All original shipping is non-refundable and can be found under our shipping policy page.

If you reside outside of the United States, you are responsible for shipping the item back to us at your expense.

Your refund will be processed within 2-3 business days upon receipt of the returned item. Please note: the refund can take up to 5 additional business days to finalized depending on your card issuer.

Any returned product showing any type of wear will be subject to a deduction on the return credit at the sole discretion of Outback Trading Co.

Warranty Policy

Outback Trading Company provides a one year warranty on everything sold through Outbacktrading.com. We assess each warranty request on a case by case basis. Please contact us if you never received your order, received the wrong product, or believe you have received a defective product. If your order is determined to be eligible for warranty, we will either replace the product or provide a refund at no further cost to you.

Order Processing Times: 

Orders placed Monday-Friday before 10am EST generally ship within 1-3 business days.

Outback Trading Company offices are generally closed on US public holidays. Web orders received on these days will typically ship the following weekday.

Delays can and may occur that may be out of our control. Such as Holiday closures, Weather related events, Carrier delays etc. As always, we appreciate your patience and understanding as we strive to get all orders out on time and as quickly as possible.

 

Cancelling / Editing Your Order:

Customers have the ability to cancel or make changes to their order order by viewing the Order Confirmation Page after placing the order. This page can be accessed by logging into your account on OutbackTrading.com or by clicking on the "View Order" button in your order confirmation email.

This is only valid before we begin processing an order. Once the order has been processed and shipped, we will no longer be able to make any changes and you will be unable to edit or cancel the order from the Order Confirmation Page.

 

SHIPPING WITHIN UNITED STATES

OutbackTrading.com offers multiple shipping methods for you to choose from when placing an order. Any shipping fees associated with an order are non-refundable.

Economy Shipping: Orders shipped using this method typically takes 3-10 business days to arrive. Most of these orders will be shipped out using UPS Surepost. 

USPS Ground Advantage: Orders shipped using this method typically take 2-6 business days to arrive. 

USPS Priority Mail: Orders shipped using this method typically take2-4 business days to arrive.

Please Note: All shipping methods offer ESTIMATED delivery time-fames but do not guarantee a certain day of arrival. All shipping fees are also non-refundable.

SHIPPING INTERNATIONAL

International orders from OutbackTrading.com will be shipped via USPS.

Unfortunately, we cannot give shipping estimates as the time orders take to pass through customs can vary. We do, however, provide a tracking number with each order shipped with USPS.

Please Note: International Customers will be responsible for any duties or tariffs associated with the import of their order into their respective country.

Everything I hoped it would be

I LOVE this jacket! I initially wanted the brown color, but it was not available when I ordered so I ordered the black and I am really happy I did. The jacket is stylish, wind proof, warm and waterproof. I have another Outback jacket, but it has no hood. This one does and I am so glad it does. The lining of the jacket is soft and adds warmth. The only negative thing I can say is that dog hair and fuzzies like to cling to the oilskin.

Great coat

It's so warm and cozy to wear. The arms/shoulders run small at least for me I order a size up and that worked. The waist can be cinched tighter.

Perfect Barn Jacket for the PNW

I just moved to the PNW from AZ and never needed a rain jacket until recently! I never considered another option other than Outback Trading Co, after buying other items for long trail rides. Great jacket for farm work

This jacket is warm and blocks the wind. I will never use another brand of jacket. The wind is devastating out here and I can comfortably tend to the animals in all weather now. The shoulders are a little stiff and tighter than expected but still ok for working. I'm going to buy the overpants to go with this.
