I live in the mountains I really put gear to a test
This jacket is great really glad I purchased it held up good in some storms
It was kinda hot running my chainsaw in the snow so if you are working just a T shirt under it is ok

I have waited 1 year to write this review so that I personally would know how this jacket would preform.
I am in Maine, very northeast, closer to Canada then the nearest large town here. I say this because it gets cold here, we experienced minus 56 degrees recently.
I have owned a Oilskin Duster for years now and needed something just as durable and waterproof but for colder weather.
On average since December the temps have been low teens to mid twenties with a few weeks of single digit numbers with feel like temps in the minus ranges, windy/breezy, mix of snow and rain, as I write this it is 19*f.
While there were days I had to layer a hoodie under the jacket, for the most part a long sleeved tee shirt was enough.
As for durability, pretty sure anything other than a knife or other sharp piece of metal isn't going to hurt it. Rocks, scrub brush, tree branches, etc. is not going to affect it.
Waterproof, it is waterproof!
Wind proof..... it is wind proof!
True to size. Even with a hoodie under it it was still roomy enough to move freely.
I would highly recommend this jacket to anyone who works outside in cold and wet weather.
I would also recommend this jacket for anyone who is looking for a functional yet stylish jacket just to stay warm and dry in.

It is a great jacket. It keeps your own corporal heat inside whilst protecting you from extreme weather and wind
